In our follow-up entry in the Munich Series, I'll guide you through a gastronomic journey of the city, showcasing its commitment to not just Authentic Bavarian Cuisine but also a diverse array of global culinary delights. 🥨

Bavarian

Bavarian food is meat-heavy, so here are some of the dishes that are a must-try (based on your preferences)

Weisswurst: A traditional Bavarian white sausage made from minced veal and pork back bacon. It is seasoned with parsley, mace, onions, lemon, and cardamom. Weisswurst is often enjoyed with sweet mustard.

Bratwurst: Bavarian sausages, usually grilled or pan-fried, and made from a mixture of pork and veal. They are often served with sauerkraut and mustard.

Haxn (Schweinshaxe): Roasted ham hock or pork knuckle, typically served with crispy skin and tender meat. It's a hearty and flavorful dish often accompanied by potato dumplings or sauerkraut.

Schnitzel: A breaded and fried veal or pork cutlet. It's a classic German dish, and variations may include Jägerschnitzel (with mushroom sauce) or Rahmschnitzel (with cream sauce).

Pretzels (Brezn): Soft, large pretzels are a staple in Bavarian cuisine. They are often served with mustard and make for a delicious accompaniment to beer.

Kartoffelsalat: Traditional Bavarian potato salad, typically made with potatoes, onions, and a tangy vinegar-based dressing.
